New Puppy!
YAY! Yesterday my parents brought home a new puppy. She is a King Charles Cavalier and Dad named her Leyla. Shes sooooo sooooo soooo cute! She crys a bit though LOL. I've been up since 5am this morning because she woke up crying then just wanted to play. I felt sorry for her. She's sleeping outside tonight so I hope she doesnt cry too much! Heres a cute little picture:
I've added 5 new Textures and 2 new Brush sets. I'm quite happy with those updates since I've been so bust latly. I also made a new artwork; Evening Troubles. I'm really happy with this one. I was playing with the graphics tablet making swirls and had to incorporate it some how. I'll make some better stuff for visitors next week, I promise :)
Once again I went shopping again this weekend. Thats 5 weekends in a row, I really think it's time to stop counting. I only got new shoes and pants this time so not too bad HAHA! I also went to get a graphics tablet (The one I have at the moment is just a loan off my uncle) but the annoying guy was sold out and the other places we went don't sell them. However looking into them more I think I am going to go with the WACOM Intuos. Its much more expensive but the specs are just so much high. The pressure sensitivity and resolution are double the Graphire so I think for the long run I'm better off just spending a little extra. Can't wait to buy one!
Ok I better be off now, I have to be up at 6am for work tomorrow and then after work it's the first class of the term for my HTML and JavaScript course. YAY, lol. I need a book now too lol, I have nothing to write in!

More web jobs...
Today was one of the girls at work last day for a few months... Shes the only other girl in the office so now its just me LOL! Usually if theres a job we cant be bothered doing we go together, or if we are bored we go for a walk, or to the sports dept for table tennis or basket ball or just chat. At lunch we can walk down the street together or whatever, now its just me... awww. LOL! The guys are great, don't get me wrong but they dont have a girls opinion on things... GAH! Oh well, it should only be a few months lol.
Anyway, I was reading an e-mail out loud to the guys from the woman who I did the website for and a teacher overheard me. He said he wants me to design his website. I've told him it will cost $300 for about 6 pages. He wants it to be an e-commerce site too, so I have to incorporate a shopping cart into it to. I told him maintenace will be $20 an hour but I will show him how to update it. So theres another job, plus the woman I did the website for is lining me up with another one as well. I'm kind of scared though... LOL!
I've made some new textures and some more artwork, but I might not get them up till Saturday... I'm being a little lazy. On the thought of Saturday I have to go to a house warming with my friend for her friends. I won't know anyone there so I'm a little worried. Plus I offered to drive so I won't be drinking. So even less fun. Ugg not going to be fun, I might try and get out of it...

New Layout!
YAY, I made a new layout and I've got it all up, including the CSS. I LOVE the CSS for this layout. I don't know if its completly matches but I love the colours hehe. What do you think?
I've also put up 3 new Artwork. I have been doing some colourisation later. Tell me what you think of these; ALONE and Eyes. I borrowed my uncles graphics tablet for a few weeks so I've been experimenting. I think it would work much better with Adobe Photoshop but it wont work on my laptop. I think the memory modules have a fault... So when I get my new PC (4gb ram, 512mb graphics, core 2 duo, 300gb HDD and 19inch monitor, then later i'll get a second monitor), I'll put CS3 on. For now I just have the CD sitting here sad... can't wait for my new PC. Just a few weeks now. I'm also going to get a scanner so I can do some better graphics.
I went shopping AGAIN today, thats 4 weeks in a row... pretty bad! I got new shoes, the cute German guy gave me 30% off because their EFTPOS machine was down. So I got them for $70. BAGAIN! Also got a 'Industry' t-shirt, some trackies for gym and a cute little vest for work. Not a bad day, I kept spending to a minimum LOL!
Ok well I've made some new Textures as well so I'll start getting those up. I might even have a new brush set up by tonight. Let me know what you think about the layout!

Networks you dumbarses!
LOL Just thought I would get that out of the way I loved it so much! Works been a lot quieter this week. Its school holidays at the moment so there are no students, just staff moving offices (which is damn annoying might I add). Other than that its a Friday today which means I doubt we will have anything to do... Probably about 2 jobs will come in the entire day. Lots of msn games today me thinks!
HAHA - I find this quite amusing! Yesterday someone in networks (which is at another campus) DELETED the directory which has all the staff accounts. This is about 10,000 staff. SO as a result no one could access any e-mails or network drives. Someone did a huge HUGE huge screw up. We are still trying to find out who did it. HAHAHA, we think its hilarious because they always blame things on us (Client Services) and now it is COMPELTLY their fault. The cover up e-mail sent as a global is funny to - "A complication to the directory has occured" WHATEVER! lol
My friend is trying to plan a holiday for us to go to Hawaii. I would love to go but at the moment another friend is being a bitch of a bitch about it. We all have to be over 21 - Legal drinking age - and 1 of my friends wont be, so I don't want her to go until she is 21. But my other friend thinks 'No they arn't strick!' Common, I am not flying 12 hours and spending $3000 to find out we can't get into anything... makes me angry! I think we need to have a better talk about it. They wanted to do a 3 way conversation last night but I was trying to sleep so I pretty much hung up lol.
Ok new layout will be up this weekend, just trying to to figure it out how to make it into a layout lol... I'm quite happy with this one, as usual, lots of colour! I still havn't come up with a name for my new domain so it looks like I won't be buying one again this week. Its so hard coming up with a good name AHHH!
I've also enrolled officially into the HTML and JavaScript course. So that will start in 2 weeks and I have been given permission from my boss to pick up one of my uni subjects again. Its going to be a hard one. I will have to create a program in VB incorporating Validation and SQL... Hope its not too hard, the exams are always the worst!
