Recent Updates
The blog has been updated with a review of True Blood episode 01x01 so if anyone is interested in my thoughts on the premiere that would be where to find them. Also you can get a sneak peak at my new column for the Team Winchester Newsletter entitled Dad's Journal. I have also added three new charities to the charities page and will try to be more attentive about adding more in the future.
Check Out True Blood
A new television series based of Charlaine Harris's brilliant "Sookie Stackhouse Novels" airs September 7 on HBO. "True Blood" as it is aptly named follows the adventures of blonde telepathic barmaid Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) after vampires 'come out of the coffin' if you will, and her vampiric lover Bill (Stephen Moyer), if the adapation (helmed by the creater of one of my personal favorites 'Six Feet Under') is a quarter as charming as the novels then I will be glued to the screen. If you prefer your adventures a little more hand held and text based get your hands on the first novel 'Dead Before Dark' you will not be sorry. Also for a sneak peak at HBO's 'True Blood' I have embedded the trailor and let me tell you that the vampire geek in me is pleased. I am also interested in the fact that it does seem to be darker than the book series it may just end up being a proper horror show. Wouldn't that be interesting?
